The Field Berry Farm

Places in nature, close to Joburg that are awesome for kids (and grown-ups!) not too spendy and lovely are pretty rare. I was delighted to discover the Field Berry farm just 30 minutes outside of Joburg.

• It’s R40 entrance for adults and R30 for kids.

• You get a bucket to fill and then pay per KG for the berries you’ve picked.

• It’s open every Saturday and Sunday from 09h00 - 15h00 between Jan and April 2020.

• There’s a very simple bike track suitable for little ones so bring wheels if that’s your thing.

• There are lovely food stalls too.

• Arrive early at opening and avoid the crowds (and heat).
